DISCHARGING MECHANISM FOR HIGH-VOLTAGE INVERTER APPARATUS

A discharging mechanism (1) is for discharging electric charges remaining within a high-voltage inverter apparatus, and is provided with: discharging terminals (P, N) to be connected to the anode and cathode sides of a capacitor equipped within an inverter circuit housed within a cell inverter (6) of the high-voltage inverter apparatus; and a short-circuiting means (5) for discharging electric charges remaining within the capacitor, by short-circuiting the discharging terminals (P, N) in a state of having a discharge resistor (4) electrically connected therebetween. The short-circuiting means (1) is provided with: a rotating axle (11) that is formed within a wind tunnel section (8), and that is equipped with conductors (C1, C2) electrically connected to the discharge resistor (4); and a short-circuiting operating member (12) that is formed near an end section of the rotating axle (11) that is exposed outside from an end section of the wind tunnel section (8), and that is for short-circuiting the discharging terminals (P, N) with the conductors (C1, C2) by turning the rotating axle (11) around the center axis thereof.
