The continuous spot trading system comprises: a trade client apparatus, a trade matching unit, and a delivery matching unit. The trading method comprises: A trader first inputs trade information via the trade client apparatus, entering a quotation queue of the trade matching unit to wait for trade matching, wherein the foremost principle of trade matching sequence is pricing has priority, and in case of the same pricing timing has priority; a trading party can then apply for delivery at a preset time in the system, entering a delivery matching unit queue, and match according to the principle of timing has priority, and the matched quantity information is fed back to the client in real time; and the trade not successfully matched continues to wait in the queue. The present invention matches trade by bidding, thus greatly reduces the trading cost of trading goods.
