Optimization of the power efficiency of a center containing energy consuming equipments

The method involves processing measures and parameters stored in a storage unit (11) according to protocols to calculate indices and/or quantitative and/or qualitative indicator. The indices and/or indicators are compared with reference indices and/or indicators, and functioning of energy-intensive infrastructure units (4), energy-intensive functional equipments (2) and energy-intensive air conditioning units (5) are implemented or adjusted so as to optimize the energy performance of a data processing center (1). An independent claim is also included for an architecture for an energy performance optimizing device of a data processing center.
