An optical fiber composite cable, particularly for telecommunications, is characterized in that said cable comprises a polymeric outer tubular element encompassing a metal strand ring pattern; an annular element arranged in said strand ring pattern and being adapted to absorb thermal expansions and resist against crushing; said annular element including a plurality of tubes which are annularly arranged about a core; said tube being empty tubes or being filled-in by optical fibers.
