NON-STICK COATING, ARTICLE HAVING A NON-STICK COATING AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A NON-STICK COATING

The invention relates to an improved non-stick coating having at least three layers, having a cover layer (6), an intermediate layer (4) and a base layer (2). The cover layer (6) contains 40 to 90 wt % of organic fluoropolymers, wherein 20 to 50%, relative to the cover layer (6), are polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and 20 to 70 wt %, relative to the cover layer, are copolymers of the tetrafluoroethylene having perfluoroalkyl-vinyl ether having 1-3 C-atoms in the alkyl group, or copolymers of the tetrafluoroethylene having hexafluoropropylene (FEP) or mixtures. The cover layer (6) further comprises 10 to 60 wt % poly(oxy-1,4-phenylencabonyl-1,4-phenylen) (PEK). The intermediate layer (4) contains 20-30 wt % of organic thermoplastic fluoropolymers selected from copolymers of the tetrafluoroethylene having perfluoroalkyl-vinyl ether having 1-3 C-atoms in the alkyl group, namely MFA or PFA, copolymers of the tetrafluoroethylene having hexafluoropropylene (FEP) or mixtures thereof, and poly(oxy-1,4-phenylencabonyl-1,4-phenylen) (PEK) and inorganic fillers (8). The particle size is selected such that at least some of the particles partially protrude into the cover layer (6), but do not penetrate said cover layer (6).
