A staging system (1) for providing television viewers with a moving perspective effect, said staging system (1) comprising:(a) a stage screen (2)for displaying at a stage a virtual image to a live audience;(b) a movable video camera (5) for shooting from different camera viewpoints camera images of the virtual image displayed on said stage screen (2);(c) a tracking unit (6) for tracking the position of said video camera (5) at the camera viewpoints with respect to said stage screen (2); and(d) a calculation unit (7) for calculating continuously an asymmetric viewing frustum of said virtual image displayed on said stage screen (2) depending on the tracked position of said video camera (5) to provide video viewers receiving the camera images of said virtual image from said video camera (5) with a moving perspective effect.
