The present invention discloses a method for an internal CMMB (China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting) antenna of hand-held terminals and a device thereof. Wherein, the frequency range of applicable band for CMMB is divided into at least a first band and a second band; a first RF signal output from the internal antenna fell into said first band is transmitted to a CMMB chip via a first RF branch; a second RF signal output from the internal antenna fell into said second band is transmitted to the CMMB chip via a second RF branch; said CMMB chip performs judgment according to signal quality indexes of the first RF signal output from said first RF branch and the second RF signal output from said second RF branch, and selects one RF signal in said first RF signal and second RF signal of which the signal quality index meets the expectation. The method and device in the present invention can improve the sensitivity of the signal reception, and can improve the TV reception effect of CMMB hand-held apparatus.
