This invention provides a complete national level location based mobile voting/ polling (LBMVP) solution which covers the whole country GSM networks to give access to all citizens and is connected in real time to a central database platform, that; collects all voting/ polling contributions online from all GSM networks, professionally performs vote counting analysis in a secured way-taking the voter privacy into consideration, as shown in figure 1. The solution offers external access to any third party for voting process and results auditing needed by judicial entities (113), civil organization (112), government (111), or any external auditors (110). The solution is based on USSD which is a GSM Mobile Application Protocol (MAP) application to collect citizen's votes and get the location of voters. GSM Mobile Application Protocol (MAP) will provide a communication channel between the solution and the voter through the GSM networks. It is a high capacity communication channel, accessible from all mobile handset types, cost efficient and it is free of charge as it is based on signaling channels which are commonly used by default even if the mobile phone is idle. The invention provides a wide range of voting/ polling services useful for presidential elections, people assembly elections, politician decision support by their followers, political parties internal voting/ polling, clubs elections, governmental and non-governmental institutes elections, media and talk shows, public and private events, conferences, enterprise decision making, and more. These set of services add lots of values to citizens, employees, leaders, followers and subordinates. It creates a sort of synergy and alliance between people moreover, helps decision makers in any place to take right decisions accurately and in a time-efficient way.
