Increased capacity multi-beam telecommunication antenna on board of a satellite and an associated telecommunication system

The antenna has a single radioelectric reflector (62) to reflect a portion of electromagnetic energy emitted by a source block and/or to intercept a portion of electromagnetic energy emitted from a geographical area. The source block is dimensioned and arranged such that each of radioelectric sources of the block generates and/or receives a different single beam, and first angular separation (thetaS1) is equal to second angular separation (thetaS2), where spill-over associated with each source is comprised between 3 and 7.5 decibel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a telecommunication payload comprising a repeater (2) a telecommunication system comprising satellite access stations emitting and/or receiving radioelectric signals.
