An additive material of a filter tip and a preparation method and application thereof. The additive material is a titanate nanotube and is synthesized through a conventional hydrothermal method. The additive material may be applied in a tip of a cigarette, so as to reduce multiple kinds of harmful substances in the mainstream smoke of the cigarette.
