Auxiliary drive device, wheelchair and method for determining the manual drive power of a wheelchair user

The device has a sensor device detecting a manual drive force manually introduced into a running wheel (10). A control device controls a drive motor i.e. electric motor, for driving the running wheel according to a support degree depending on a function of the drive force introduced manually into the running wheel by an user. The control device controls the drive motor such that a rotational torque is produced against an effective direction of the manually introduced drive force in response to the drive force in a user force determination-operation mode. An independent claim is also included for a method for determination of maximum manual drive force of a wheelchair user.
