Disclosed herein is Ricinus communis perennial plant designated as NANDAN-31 produced by crossing RCZ-P94 and RCZ-S128 and applying biparental crossing process adopting diallel mating design (half-diallel) at F2 generation following selection. The invention further discloses process for producing said plant of Ricinus communis for high seed yield and construction of molecular marker specific to NANDAN-31.
