The method involves recording history of a game session, and recording game elements (12-15) e.g. contact-less card, that are not in play. The game elements are recorded in the possession of players (10, 11) at the time when the game is interrupted by utilizing a set of master elements (22, 23). The game elements are recorded so as to be able subsequently resume the game session in the same state during interruption of the game. The game elements are provided with chips.
