The tool (100) has a combustion motor (10) comprising a carburetor (12) arranged in a carburetor space (13) that is separated from a motor compartment (15) by an intermediate wall (14). A fan wheel (16) guides air from the compartment into the space through a motor compartment aperture (17) in the wall. A hot air aperture is provided in the wall so that the hot air is introducible into the space through the hot air aperture. The compartment aperture is opened and the hot air aperture is closed and vice versa when an adjusting element (19) is in summer and winter positions, respectively. The adjusting element is formed as a plate element.
