The apparatus has electrically insulating material made support plates (22,28,38) that are provided with respect to the printed circuit boards (16,10). An electrical connector (34) connects contact surfaces (24,30) of respective support plates (22,28). The electrical connector (48) connects contact surfaces (40,44) of support plate (38). The clamping devices (50,54) connect support plates with end regions of circuit boards, such that contact surfaces of support plates are coupled with contact surfaces (12,14,18,20) of circuit boards, respectively.
