Method and device for dosing and packaging polysilicon chunks and dosing and packaging unit

The dosing unit has a conveying trough for conveying a product stream to polysilicon fractions, a bar sieve for separation of product stream in rough and fine polysilicon fractions, a rough dosing canal for rough polysilicon fractions and a fine dosing canal for a fine polysilicon fraction. A dosing scale is provided for determination of the dosing weight. The bar sieve and the dosing scale partially have a hard metal on their surfaces. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a packaging unit for a device for packaging of polysilicon fractions; and (2) a method of dispensing and packaging polysilicon fractions.
