PURPOSE: A novel microorganism Acinetobacter baumannii KCTC18184P with excellent biofilm-forming ability is provided to develop a therapeutic agent for treating infectious diseases.;CONSTITUTION: A novel microorganism Acinetobacter baumannii KCTC19194P forms a biofilm. Acinetobacter baumannii contains a gene encoding a protein with function of suppressing biofilm formation. Acinetobacter baumannii contains 16S rRNA with a base of sequence number 1. A standard strain composition for evaluating antibiotics contains Acinetobacter baumannii. A method for screening antibiotics comprises: a step of treating test compounds to Acinetobacter baumannii; and a step of confirming the suppression of film formation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
