APPARATUS FOR MEASURING GRAVITATIONAL ACCELERATION USING A MULTI-REFLECTIVE HIGH RESOLUTION OPTICAL INFERENCE METER CAPABLE OF INCREASING AN OFS(OPTICAL FRINGE SUBDIVISION) DEGREE WITH A SIMPLE CONFIGURATION
PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring gravitational acceleration using a multi-reflective high resolution optical inference meter is provided to precisely measure gravitational acceleration by calculating a free fall distance in a long distance range which is measured at high resolution less than a nanometer.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring gravitational acceleration(100) comprises a beam laser generator(110), a first non-polarizing beam splitter(BS1), a first polarizer(P1), a first total reflector(M1), and a second polarizer(P2). The laser generator outputs the laser beam of a wavelength which is preset. The first non-polarizing beam splitter divides the laser beam into a first path and a second path. The first non-polarizing beam splitter outputs a laser beam, which is incident from the first path and the second, to a third path. The first path and the second path meet at right angle. The first path and the third path meet at right angle. The first polarizer outputs only a vertical polarization element by receiving the laser beam separated from into first path. A first total reflection element totally reflects the laser beam of the vertical polarization element which passes through the first polarizer. The second polarizer outputs only a horizontal polarization element by receiving the laser beam separated into the second path.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
