PURPOSE: An energy saving type apparatus and a method for the air conditioning of a green internet cafe are provided to minimize energy consumption by selectively using hot air generated from a PC rack for air conditioning. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving type apparatus for the air conditioning of a green internet cafe comprises a PC rack(100), an intake unit, and an exhaust unit. Multiple PC bodies(50) are installed inside the PC rack. The PC rack heats air using heat generated from the PC bodies. The intake unit inhales internal air or external air and transfers the inhaled air to the PC rack. The exhaust unit inhales the air heated by the PC rack and exhausts the air to the indoor or outdoor.
