PURPOSE: A vision and recognition training apparatus and method are provided to easily improve vision and recognition capabilities by improving the eyeball muscular strength of a user without a computer.;CONSTITUTION: A vision and recognition training apparatus comprises a storage unit(101), an input unit(103), a display unit(105), a user interface control unit(107), a sensing unit(109), a recognizing unit(111), a beam output control unit(113), and a beam output unit(115). The user interface control unit outputs menu information in the display unit and receives information in which a user inputs or selects from the input unit. The user interface control unit commands the drive of the sensing unit and the information to the beam output control unit. The sensing unit irradiates light to an object and collects light which is reflected or transmitted to the objects. The recognizing unit recognizes a letter which is displayed in the object based on the light which is collected. The beam output control unit extracts the output control information of a recognition beam according the information in which the user inputs or selects from the input unit from the storage unit. The beam output unit outputs the recognition beam in the object under the control of the beam output control unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
