The freight deck (1) has a temperature measuring device (10) for contactless measurement of the temperature of a container, a pallet or a unit load device (20). The temperature measuring device has an infrared sensor and an infrared camera. The temperature is arranged in a base of the freight deck such that the temperature of a lower side (25) of the unit load device is measured by the temperature measuring device. An independent claim is included for a method for monitoring the temperature of a container, a pallet or a unit load device.
