PURPOSE: A ship with reduced slamming is provided to reduce the slamming of waves by attenuating the waves impacting a stern with a floater connected to the ship.;CONSTITUTION: A ship with reduced slamming includes a ship(10), a floater(30), and a winch(50). The floater is connected to the ship by a connection line and floats on the water around a stern of the ship. The floater attenuates waves which hit the stern of the ship.
