PURPOSE: A method for converting a single image to a 3D image using an equalizing depth map generation method is provided to make a 3D image with high quality by generating a volume map, a depth map, moving objects, and naturally reconstructing an image difference due to the movement of the object. CONSTITUTION: An object separation module of a 3D image conversion engine separates an object from each frame of an original single image(S100). A volume map generation module generates the volume information of the object(S200). A depth map generation module generates the depth information of the object(S400). An object moving module moves the object(S700). A hole filling module converts a single image to a 3D image through a hole filling process(S800).
