PURPOSE: A construction method of an expandable pedestrian bridge installed in the side of a road is provided to enable pedestrians and bicycles to pass through a pedestrian bridge regardless of the weather. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of an expandable pedestrian bridge installed in the side of a road is as follows. Bearing piles(20) are vertically buried in the slope of a road(10) at uniform intervals. Expandable pedestrian bridge support blocks(40) are formed in the head of the bearing piles. An expandable pedestrian bridge(50) is installed in the pedestrian bridge support blocks in a cantilever shape.
