PURPOSE: An apparatus for dividing and controlling the input of a Doherty power amplifier is provided to secure an optimal throughput and linearity by easily distributing an optimized input. CONSTITUTION: A 90 hybrid distribution device(201) distributes the power of an input signal to a main amplifier and a peaking amplifier by a 90 phase difference. A first envelope detector(202) detects the envelop of the input signal of an asymmetry Doherty power amplifier. A second envelope detector(203) detects the envelop of the output signal of the asymmetry Doherty power amplifier. A first gain and phase variation part varies the attenuation and phase of the main amplifier depending on distortion between the envelop of a detected input signal and the envelop of the output signal. A second gain and phase variation part varies the attenuation and phase of the peaking amplifier depending on distortion between the envelop of the detected input signal and the envelop of the output signal. A gain and phase controller(208) controls the attenuation and phase variable motion of the first and the second gain and phase variation part.
