PURPOSE: A device and a method for protecting the service availability of a web server are provided to relay web server service to a normal subscriber.;CONSTITUTION: A connection control unit(11) monitors the load of a web server. If a DDoS attack is generated at the web server, the connection control unit converts the connection of a subscriber terminal by interlinking with a DNS(Domain Name Server). A subscriber authentication unit(12) authenticates the subscriber terminal which is connected through the connection conversion of the DNS. A server intermediation unit(13) relays service between the subscriber terminal and the web server which is authenticated normally by the subscriber authentication unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
