PURPOSE: A document printing managing device for enhancing the security and the usability of a printed document and a method thereof, and a recording medium are provided to print information for a printing right and reuse when a document is printed, thereby enhancing the security and usability of a printed document. CONSTITUTION: An image generating unit(120) adds additional printing information and printed document reuse information, which are related to a file, to the content of the file to generate a printed image. A transmission unit(130) transmits the printed image to a printer driver. An authority authenticating unit authenticates a right with which a user prints a file to be requested for print. The additional printing information includes printing file name information, printing user check information, printing user team information, temporary printing information, and printing terminal information.
