PURPOSE: An automobile safety system is provided to quickly and accurately inform the presence of other automobiles near a driver's automobile and to prevent accident.;CONSTITUTION: An automobile safety system comprises: a direction indication lever operated by a driver; an ultrasonic wave sensor for sensing the presence of other automobiles and distance to the automobiles; a control unit(40) for safely controlling lane change based on the distance information; and alarming unit(50) for cautioning the presence and distance.
