FLAVONOIDS INCLUSION COMPLEX DERIVED FROM CITRON SEED, A PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF, AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A citron seed-derivative flavonoid inclusion complex and a method for preparing the same are provided to reduce total serum cholesterol and triglyceride. CONSTITUTION: A flavonoid complex is formed by including hesperetin, naringenin, and limonin with cyclodextrin-based compounds. The hesperetin, naringenin, and limonin are isolated from citron seeds. A method for preapreing the flavonoid complex comprises: a step of adding organic solvent to citron seeds; a step of adding organic solvent to citron seeds to isolated lipid; and a step of adding alcohol to residue to isolated flavonoid.
