METHOD FOR DEVELOPING A MODEL FOR PREDICTING THE POSSIBILITY OF PRODUCING UNDERGROUND WATER USING A GIS AND A PROBABILITY STATISTIC TECHNIQUE

PURPOSE: A method for developing a model for predicting the possibility of producing groundwater using a GIS and a probability statistic technique is provided to predict GWP(GroundWater Productivity) by obtaining sensitivity and independency between factors and analyzing accuracy of prediction.;CONSTITUTION: Various hydrogeologic factors and aquifer hydraulic characteristic data are inputted wherein the hydrogeologic factors and the aquifer hydraulic characteristic data can influence GWP of a target region. The GWP is analyzed based on the hydrogeologic factors and the aquifer hydraulic characteristic data provided from a GIS groundwater space database. GWP prediction is written by the analyzed information. The accuracy of the GWP is verified using the GWP prediction. A result making unit compares all prediction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
