NOVEL GLUCONACETOBACTER SP. GEL_SEA 623-2 STRAIN ISOLATED FROM TANGERINE JUICE AND A METHOD FOR PREPARING CELLULSOE GEL USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A Gluconacetobacter sp. gel_SEA623-2 strain is provided to ensure non-toxicity and to be applied to a mask pack and functional cosmetic product.;CONSTITUTION: A novel Gluconacetobacter sp. gel_SEA623-2 strain(KACC 91526P) is used for manufacturing cellulose gel. The strain is isolated from tangerine. The pH of tangerine juice is 2.5-5.0. The strain is precultured at 25-35°C and pH 2.5-5.0. The cellulose gel has 5-20 mm of thickness and 70-95 wt% of moisture.
