摘要

PURPOSE: A dye sensitive solar cell including a counter electrode with a mesoporous carbon electrode on a transparent substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain high photoelectric conversion efficiency by using mesoporous carbon catalyst with a large pore. CONSTITUTION: A counter electrode(20) includes a mesoporous carbon electrode(25) formed on a transparent substrate(21). The mesoporous carbon electrode is formed by using an aligned mesoporous carbon electrode catalyst. The mesoporous carbon electrode catalyst has an amorphous carbon wall. The mesoporous carbon electrode provides a catalyst reaction unit for a reduction of a tri-iodide. An operation electrode is made of dye absorbed in a nano oxide layer formed on the transparent substrate.
