PURPOSE: A combining structure of a steel beam and a deck plate using a fixing member of dowel shape and a composite beam of the same are provided to secure fire-resistance efficiency and stability and to efficiently be applied to a long-span structure. CONSTITUTION: A combining structure of a steel beam and a deck plate using a fixing member of dowel shape comprises a steel beam(11), a fixing member(12), and a deck plate. The steel beam is composed of an upper flange(111), a web(113) and a lower flange(112). The fixing member is combined with the upper flange so that at least one part of the fixing member can be protruded to the direction in parallel with the width of the upper flange. The fixing member has the part upward projected from the plane of the upper flange. A floor side is fixed on the deck plate using the fixing member.
