PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a non-active coil shape of a coil spring is provided to flexibly deal with small quantity batch production by transferring a lighting device for blocking a background and a camera according to the freedom degree and pitch value of a coil spring.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a non-active coil shape of a coil spring comprises a transfer conveyor(10), a coil spring alignment cylinder, an image acquisition unit(12), and a defect product discharge cylinder(13). The transfer conveyor transfers the coil spring by loading a plurality of V-blocks(100) in which the coil spring(20) is settled on a top part. The coil spring alignment cylinder is installed to be located in both sides of the transfer conveyor. The coil spring alignment cylinder arranges the location of the coil spring which is loaded on the V-blocks. The image acquisition unit is installed in both sides of the transfer conveyor to be located in a front portion of the coil spring alignment cylinder. The image acquisition unit obtains an image of a non-active coil shape of the coil spring. The defect product discharge cylinder is installed in the front portion of the image acquisition unit in order to be located in one side of the transfer conveyor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
