STAINLESS STEEL COATED WITH POLYPHENYLCARBOSILANE HAVING SILICONCARBIDE POWDER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF CAPABLE OF ENSURING STABILITY AT SURFACE HARDNESS AND HIGH TEMPERATURE AND IN A STRONG ACID CONDITION
PURPOSE: Stainless steel coated with polyphenylcarbosilane having siliconcarbide powder and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable use as a metallic material in a gas turbine, or a vehicle engine, ensure stability in an acid solution and simplify manufacturing processes.;CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing stainless steel with a ceramic film comprises next steps. Polyphenylcarbosilane and siliconcarbide powder are added to organic solvent to manufacture coating solution. The coating solution is coated on the surface of the stainless steel with an oxide film. The coated stainless steel is cured and then thermally treated. In case of the coating solution, siliconcarbide powder is sprayed to solution, which is formed in a manner polyphenylcarbosilane is melted in the organic solvent.
