PURPOSE: An aluminum oxide-based ceramic insulating material for microwave and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to use aluminum oxide mixture of superior microwave transmittance.;CONSTITUTION: An aluminum oxide-based ceramic insulating material for microwave includes 64-70 weight% of aluminum oxide of 99% or more purity, 20-30 weight% of an inorganic binder or 99% or more purity, and 1-6 weight% of zirconia. The aluminum oxide includes large particle-sized particles small particle-sized particles at a ratio of 4:6. A method for manufacturing the ceramic insulating material includes the following: aluminum oxide is classified by particle sizes(S10); the aluminum oxide and the zirconia are mixed(S20); the mixture is arranged in a reactor; the inorganic binder is added into the mixture(S30); the mixture with the inorganic binder is shaped by pressing or pressure(S40); and the shaped product is fired(S50).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
