PURPOSE: A fringe-field switching liquid crystal display device is provided to minimize color shift due to a viewing angle at an FFS(Fringe-Field Switching) mode, thereby increasing picture quality.;CONSTITUTION: A unit pixel includes a main area(M) and a sub area(S). The direction of a horizontal electric field applied to liquid crystals is different from the direction of rubbing the liquid crystals in the main area and the sub area.
