MAKING METHOD OF BRICK USING FLY ASH AND SILICATE BINDER

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of brick using coal ash and silicate binder is provided to increase compressive strength of the brick through a compression process and provide various colors according to plasticizing temperature. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of brick using coal ash and silicate binder comprises the following steps: obtaining a mixture by mixing 75-85 weight% of coal ash, 10-20 weight% of silicate binder, and 5-15 weight% of water at 100-500rpm for 10-60 minutes; fermenting the mixture at 20-25deg.C for 12-48hours; obtaining brick shaped compact product by compressing the fermented mixture with a pressure of 80-120kgf/cm; and obtaining a brick by plasticizing at 600-1100deg.C for 6-48 hours. The silicate binder can use either sodium silicate(Na2SiO3) or potassium silicate.
