PURPOSE: A piezoelectric inkjet printhead and an operation method thereof are provided to stably discharge high frequency to the outside even if the high-frequency is over 30 KHz.;CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric inkjet printhead(100) comprises a pressure chamber(102), a piezoelectric actuator(104), and a pulse applying unit(106). The piezoelectric actuator supplies driving force for discharging ink to the pressure chamber. The pulse applying unit applies a drive pulse, comprising a first descent section, a first maintenance section, an ascent section, a second maintenance section, and a second descent section, to the piezoelectric actuator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
