AN APPARATUS FOR ESCAPING FROM FIRE IN THE HIGH BUILDING

PURPOSE: A fire escaping apparatus for multistory buildings is provided to escape people from a floor at which fire occurred to a safe floor without through the external side of a multistory building. CONSTITUTION: A fire escaping apparatus for multistory buildings includes a manhole(2), a hatch(3), a wire-type ladder(5), a blocking plate(8), a blocking plate opening unit(9), and a ladder controlling unit(10). The manhole is formed at the bottom of a veranda. The hatch is installed to be in connection with the inlet of the manhole. The wire-type ladder is installed in the manhole. The blocking plate is mounted at the lower side of the manhole. The blocking plate is opened to open the manhole in case of emergency. The ladder controlling unit controls the rotation of a rotary shaft for the ladder.
