PURPOSE: A safety manhole structure is provided to enable a manger to easily confirm whether a manhole cover is separated and damaged or not in real time.;CONSTITUTION: A safety manhole structure comprises a manhole body(100), a height adjusting ring(200), a manhole cover(300), and a detection unit(400). The manhole body has an inner space(110) and a manhole port(120). The height adjusting ring is installed on the top of the manhole port and has a hanging protrusion(210). The height adjusting ring adjusts the height of the manhole cover. The manhole cover comprises first and second manhole covers(310,320). The first manhole cover covers the top of the manhole port. The second manhole cover is inserted into a housing groove(311) of the first manhole cover and has a reflector(321). The detection unit detects whether the manhole cover is separated and damaged or not by sensing light reflected from the reflector.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
