摘要

PURPOSE: A surface modification method of a carbon nanotube using an oxidizing agent is provided to minimize structural defects in the carbon nanotube by using potassium peroxomonosulfate as an oxidizer and improve the dispersibility of the carbon nanotube within a polar medium.;CONSTITUTION: A surface modification method of a carbon nanotube(2) using an oxidizing agent comprises the following steps: adding 20-220parts by weight of potassium peroxomonosulfate as an oxidizer based on 100.0 parts by weight of the carbon nanotube; oxidizing the surface of the carbon nanotube at 10-80deg.C for 20min-24hours in a water phase; filtering the obtained carbon nanotube; and washing the filtered carbon nanotube with water until the pH becomes 7 and drying the carbon nanotube. In the obtained carbon nanotube composition, the oxygen content is 2.0-5.0 mole% based on the carbon atoms.
