PURPOSE: A system for determining the drop position of a cannon ball and a method for determining the drop position of a cannon ball using the same are provided to extract a distance between the current position of a cannon ball and a drop point.;CONSTITUTION: A system for determining the drop position of a cannon ball comprises sound wave sensors(110,120,130), a seismometer(210), a recording device(220), and a processing device(230). The sound wave sensors are arranged on the angular points of a triangular structure and sense sound waves. The seismometer is arranged on the center of a triangular area formed by the sound wave sensors and senses seismic waves. The recording device records and stores the physical quantity sensed from the sound wave sensors and the seismometer. The processing device calculates the explosion time of a cannon ball and a distance between the current position to a drop point(10) of the cannon ball.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
