PURPOSE: A method for controlling a digital photographing device and a device thereof are provided to compensate the blinked part of a main captured image based on one or more pre captured images captured after S1 point.;CONSTITUTION: A digital photographing device selects a blink correction mode(500). When a preview image is output, the digital photographing device performs AF(auto focusing ) according to a first shutter input signal(504). The digital photographing device performs the main photographing according to the second shutter input signal(508,510).
