PURPOSE: A method for providing service search and a system thereof are provided to search fragments corresponding to a plurality of TVA(TV Anytime) fragments at once and search the fragments in a container unit with a set of fragments satisfying conditions instead of listing location of fragments.;CONSTITUTION: An index forming unit(210) forms an index structure. A container configuring unit(220) configures an integrated container by integrating service information, schedule, and program information according to a service identifier with a sub index area. A guide configuring unit(230) configures an EPG(Electronic Program Guide) with an index structure.
