PURPOSE: A thin flat glass substrate and a manufacturing method of a float glass for manufacturing thereof are provided to obtain the thin flat glass substrate having a thickness of less than 1.5mm, wide area, and improved quality by maintaining a minimum thickness variation.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a float glass which is for manufacturing a thin flat glass comprises next steps: injecting high temperature molten glass(4) into molten metal bathes(2) in order to form a hot spread region; arranging flags(9) in the molten metal bathes which are dissolved in both side surfaces of the fused glass in the hot spread region; and giving final outlet speed for the glass sheet by accelerating the glass sheet.
