PURPOSE: A calibration of an electro-optical signal path of a sensor device by means of online signal level monitoring is provided to compensate output signal of an analog-digital convertor by the duration reduction of optical pulse, in case the output signal grows larger than predetermined value.;CONSTITUTION: A sensor device comprises a sending device, a receiving device, and a correcting device. The receiving device receives received radiation having scattered radiation, and outputs measured signal meaning received radiation. The correcting device monitors corrected measured signal, and can detect the arrival of predetermined signal level about the corrected measured signal. The correcting device is formed to determine the time interval between the arrival time of predetermined signal level(Uref) and the switching on time of the sending device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
