PURPOSE: A face robot for emotional expression is provided to reduce a load added in a motor and has a low-cost motor with the small torque.;CONSTITUTION: A face robot for emotional expression comprises a face unit(10), a cervical spine unit(20), a hinge shaft(30), a motor and an elastic unit(40). The face unit expressed various expression with copying a human face on a face frame. The cervical spine unit supports the face unit to make the face unit rotate up and down. The cervical spine is rotated from side to side about the body of robot(25). The hinge shaft rotates the face unit in upward and downward direction about the cervical spine. The motor offers the power to make the face unit rotate in upward and downward direction about the cervical spine.
