PURPOSE: A tundish preheating method is provided to prevent the temperature decrease of a tundish by injecting incompletely burned gas into the tundish and heats with an auxiliary burner before receiving molten metal in the tundish.;CONSTITUTION: A tundish preheating method comprises the steps of: inserting a preheating burner in a burner hole of a cover part covering the top of a tundish and activating the preheating burner to preheat the inside of the tundish(S10), stopping the preheating burner and removing from the cover part(S20), injecting air and fuel gas into an auxiliary burner to be inserted in an auxiliary hole of the cover part and injecting incompletely burned gas to deoxidize the inside of the tundish(S30), and stopping the auxiliary burner and removing from the auxiliary hole(S40).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
