PURPOSE: A flywheel and energy storage device having the same is provided to reducing the possibility of damages and separation in the high speed by applying a sliding hub to a flywheel.;CONSTITUTION: A flywheel storing torque from the operation of a motor comprises a rotary shaft(100), a rotator(300) and a sliding hub(200). A first engraved portion(180) is formed on an outer surface of the rotary shaft. The second engraved portion(310) is formed on an inner surface of the rotator. The rotator surrounds the outer surface of the rotary shaft. . The rotator is installed separately from the rotary shaft. The sliding hub is inserted into the first and second engraved portion.
